Q Power (Qld) Pty Ltd recently completed a Pathway Lighting Upgrade Logan project at Mathews Park, Bethania for Logan City Council. This upgrade improves safety, visibility and long-term reliability along key pedestrian pathways within the park.

Lighting Improvements for Mathews Park – Project Scope
Our team delivered a full removal and replacement package, including civil works, structural footings and new LED streetlight installation.
The scope included:
- Isolation of supply to the existing pathway lighting
- Removal and disposal of 8 existing poles and luminaires
- Drilling of 8 new ragbolt footings
- Installation of conduit sweeps into new footings
- Installation of 8 x 5m Energex galvanised poles with 0.5m outreach
- Installation of 8 x 23W luminaires (3000K)
- Installation of minor road panels and asset labels
- Reinstatement of impacted turf areas
- ADCD drawings and electrical compliance certification
- Testing, commissioning and full handover documentation
Importantly, our team managed site safety, exclusion zones and controlled isolation procedures throughout the works. As a result, the upgrade was completed safely and efficiently while maintaining compliance with council standards.
In addition, careful coordination ensured that civil and electrical works were completed in sequence, reducing disruption within the park.
