Introduction: We’re thrilled to share the latest service project update from Q Power! At Pub Lane in Greenbank, we’ve recently completed a lighting installation.
Project Overview: Due to overhead service limitations, traditional light pole installations were not feasible in this area. However, challenges often inspire creativity, and we seized the opportunity to think outside the box. Leveraging the existing handrail infrastructure, we embarked on a mission to illuminate Pub Lane with cutting-edge lighting solutions.
Scope of Work:
- Supply and installation of a 4-meter Hot Dipped Galvanized pole, complete with advanced components such as stainless steel enclosures, IP vent hoods, and lithium batteries.
- RPEQ Engineering certification and Form 15 compliance to ensure safety and regulatory adherence.
- Precise trenching and drilling operations to seamlessly integrate lighting circuits and Planet Lighting Puck SNAP-CF-AS-30-P fixtures along the handrail.
- Thorough testing and commissioning procedures to guarantee optimal performance and reliability.
Innovative Solutions: By utilizing the existing handrail, we not only overcame logistical challenges but also enhanced the aesthetic appeal of Pub Lane.
