Project Update: Inala Community Centre

The Inala Community Centre construction project marks a few firsts: it’s our first time working with builders Wiley & Co, and it’s among the first projects to work under a new law that’s now in place to help subcontractors get paid on time: Project Bank Accounts.

Our team kicked off the government project in October last year and its completion will see another Queensland suburb with access to community services and a safe place to foster connections and community engagement. (There are about 100 such community centres across Queensland right now.)

We’ve been working closely with the team at Wiley & Co to ensure our electrical services installation integrates smoothly with their building services, supplying:

  • Switchboards
  • Internal and external lighting
  • Exit and emergency lighting
  • Lighting control
  • Power
  • Communications
  • Electronic security
  • Civil electrical works
  • Cable support systems

We’re extremely grateful to have been given the opportunity to work with Wiley & Co and are pleased with the project’s success so far, which is on track to reach completion in the coming weeks.

“We are so impressed with the professional approach Wiley demonstrate in their project delivery, and we will be working hard to finish this project strongly and to build on what is already proving to be a great business relationship,” our Managing Director Mike Walsh said.
