We’ve seen the inside of a few police stations recently! Not because we’re not law-abiding citizens, of course, but because we’ve been providing a range of electrical and gate automation services for various police station upgrades across north Brisbane.
Electrical and gate automation services
Engaged by the team at J&D Contracting, we joined a host of trades servicing the Ferny Grove, Boondall and Hendra Police Stations, specifically with the design and installation of electrical, communications, and automatic gate systems.
To power office alterations and charging stations for the Brisbane Forensic Crash Unit and Road Policing task force at Boondall, our team led the design and installation of new electrical and data systems, ensuring the smooth running of usual police operations.
We delivered external lighting upgrades and repairs for Ferny Grove Station, and supplied and installed a new automatic gate for the police station at Hendra, complete with a keypad control system. Here, we also installed traffic control bollards and car park wheel stops to better manage vehicle access.
Working at sites while they’re running business as usual is commonplace for our team – and these projects were no exception. With some stations open all hours, taking care to ensure little to no disruption to police staff as we carried out our work was always critical.
