Welcoming Olivia: Q Power’s New Apprentice
We’re thrilled to introduce Olivia, the newest addition to the Q Power team! Straight out of school, Olivia joins us with a passion for learning and a long-held ambition to pursue an electrical apprenticeship.
Olivia’s Journey to Q Power
Olivia has always been fascinated by technology and dreamed of becoming an electrician. Thanks to a referral from our friends at NAWIC (National Association of Women in Construction), her aspirations have become a reality. Olivia’s enthusiasm for the trade and her eagerness to learn impressed us from the start.
Outside of work, Olivia is active in her community. She enjoys coaching netball, playing touch football, and cheering for the Broncos. If her favorite team makes it to the grand final in October, she plans to attend and show her support.
Making an Impact at Q Power
Olivia has quickly integrated into the team, building strong relationships with her colleagues. Her positive attitude and readiness to tackle challenges have already made a noticeable impact on our projects.
Co-owner Natalie Walsh, who has over 25 years of experience as an electrician, is particularly excited to welcome Olivia. Natalie shares, “After years of effort, I am thrilled and immensely proud to bring Olivia on board. Supporting aspiring electricians like Olivia is incredibly rewarding.”
